AAID MaxiCourse®
Description

The MaxiCourse® concept, in which the American Academy of Implant Dentistry co-sponsors a continuing education program with an accredited educational institution or hospital or similar affiliation, originated in 1986 at the Medical College of Georgia. The Board of Trustees delegated oversight responsibility of the MaxiCourses® to the Education Oversight Committee (EOC). This responsibility includes the approval of new and continuing sponsorship relationships. Applicants must be a Fellow of the Academy to be eligible to complete an application as a director of a program.

AAID MaxiCourses® provide the 300+ hours of CE hours necessary to fulfill the CE requirement of the Associate Fellow Member (this must include at least 75 hours of hands-on/participation in the course). Thousands of dentists around the world have completed an AAID MaxiCourse® to become proficient implant dentistry clinicians. View all of the AAID MaxiCourses® worldwide at https://aaidmaxicourse.com/.

AAID will accept applications and annual report submissions twice a year. The application deadlines for the upcoming cycle are:

  • May 4
  • September 1

The applications will be reviewed by the EOC on a bi-yearly basis. All action items from these reviews will be brought to the attention of the Board of Trustees (BOT). Applicants will receive notification of their application status within 30 days of the BOT meeting.

The $7500 application fee is non-refundable and due at the time of application.
